We would like to inform you that the voting for the Statute Modifications is now open following this link.
The voting takes place from today, 15 February, to 20 February.
Please note that you are eligible to vote if you have been a paying member in the last year leading to the elections.
The voting concerns two Statute modifications:
1. CURRENT: The Association is run by a board of 9 members elected for 4 years by the General Assembly (Article 15).
PROPOSED CHANGE: The Association is run by a board of 11 members elected for 4 years by the General Assembly (Article 15).
2. CURRENT: Members already holding another post in an international chess federation cannot be elected to the Board.
PROPOSED CHANGE: Delete the whole sentence.
