With the aim to improve the way we work, we propose to hold the Extraordinary General Assembly and General Assembly from 15th to 22nd of March.
The proposed agenda for the EGA and GA is the following:

Naturally, you're welcome and encouraged to propose and suggest any topic you deem worthy of discussion and they will be included in the agenda.
When the time approaches we will provide the link to the dedicated page where the voting will take place.
The Statute Changes:
Article 2 - Purpose
Original: The Association's purpose is the protection of professional chess players' rights, the practice and promotion of chess worldwide, in particular through the organization of chess tournaments and other chess events.
Proposed: The Association's purpose is to mobilize expertise and ideas to influence the policy-making process in the chess world by brokering ideas, stimulating public debate and offering creative solutions. The Association also protects its members rights, the practice and promotion of chess worldwide through its streaming channel, social media, website and organization of chess tournaments and other chess events.
Article 12 - The Board
Original: The Board's function is, among others, to initiate debates concerning official tournament rules, proposals to improve professional players' conditions, to search for sponsors in order to organize tournaments under the aegis of the Association, to establish the agenda of the General Assembly, etc. This list is not exhaustive.
Proposed: The Board's function is, among others, to initiate debates and put forward ideas related to important aspects of the professional chess society, proposals to improve chess professional's conditions, to search for sponsors and donors in order to organize chess-related events under the aegis of the Association, to establish the agenda of the General Assembly, et cetera. The list is not exhaustive.

A Board Member may lose his/her status due to inactivity. The procedure is described in the ACP Internal Rules.
