Dear colleagues,
Another year approaches its end, and it is a proper time to summarize the ACP activities.
It was a very busy year with a lot of projects - we kept supporting our veterans, significantly expanded and strengthened the cooperation with the whole range
of the best tournaments worldwide, allocated a lot of funds for our members playing in open events, organized our own competitions, and most important - we always stood for you. We stood and we will keep standing for the principles most of you share. ACP did not shy away to raise its voice and always took a clear unequivocal stance fighting for our members and for chess itself.
We are pleased but not surprised to see the number of our members constantly growing, and I promise we will keep expanding our activities next year - in all the fields.
The main principle of our work is simple: ACP is always there for you. It is not only about our global projects: we do a lot of work that usually remains unnoticed - resolving issues that wouldn't make it to the headlines. This day-by-day work may be not the fanciest one, but ACP will keep doing it for the entire chess community.
On behalf of the ACP Board, I wish you all a successful year 2018, and guarantee - we will keep doing our utmost to make a professional chess world a better place.
