WGM Elena Tomilova is the winner of the ACP-ChessBase Women’s KO Event. At first, she didn’t want to participate at the tournament but she was persuaded by her husband, GM Dmitry Kryakvin to prepare and to give it a try.
In the 1st Round she won against Arakhamia-Grant 2.5-0.5, but maybe the biggest surprise was in the second round, where we saw 3-0 against Stefanova.
ACP - Chessbase Knock-Out Results

These events, open only for our Premium members, will take place on the Playchess server from 24 to 28 July.

- FIDE Checkmate Coronavirus project
reached 500,000 entries milestone, where hundreds of thousands of people were participating in 2500+ tournaments running non-stop since May 18 under the motto "Checkmate Coronavirus".
Report by the President
Dear Colleagues,
In the several months since the last General Assembly we managed to come to an agreement with the European Chess Union about the prizes for our Premiums at the European Individual Chess Championships, both the open and the women section. We will have 5 prizes at both tournaments, 1000 EUR each. This agreement continues the successful cooperation between the two organisations to mutual benefit.

New Board Member
Dear Members,
We would like to inform you of a change of the Board composition.
Last week we received a request by our Board Member Maria Emelianova to resign from the Board. This request was accepted.
After consultations within the Board we approached Bojana Bejatovic and she accepted our proposal to become a Board Member.
We believe that Bojana will bring youthful energy and fresh outlook in the work of the Board
